    1. Do I feel like I fully know my past? No, although I have a good sense of the outlines. I’m fairly at peace with that. Different parts have shared different things, so at least it doesn’t feel like an enormous blank, and as I get older, my childhood is further away, so it works out fine.

    2. How do I change my dominant alter? I don’t, generally. What worked best for my system was to work on co-consciousness. Of course, that doesn’t include the year or two when the adult parts just weren’t present. Looking back, I’m not entirely sure whether that was something younger parts did, or something the adults did themselves. And I’m not sure how it happened… I know that we used to be able to block one part or another from coming out, but that wound up causing more problems than it was worth. In the end, it just worked better to have all of the parts know that everyone is welcome so long as their behavior is appropriate to the situation.

    3. How do I get little kids to grow up?

WE DON’T! There is a joke about I don’t grow up I THROW up or something. But actually, we just are ok with having some little kids around. It makes us a lot more fun!!! Also we are more interesting. And no one notices when it is a little kid cause in public then we use a grown up voice or we do not make a big deal about it. Well, we just do not say “Hey I am a little kid so you should feel uncomfterbel.” We just be ourselves and no one has a problem of it.

But also we make sure the importent grown up stuff gets done like we can act right for jobs and appointments and stuff. Also we can make sure the bills get payed.

For us the importent thing was for the grown ups and teen agers to find out we are just fine at a lot of things and we can be trusted.
