How have things changed since your diagnosis of DID?
Do you think there is any difference between the terms “DID” (Dissociative Identity Disorder) and “MPD” (Multiple Personality Disorder)? How do you feel about either of these terms and their use?
Does anything happen to you when you are driving a vehicle? Do you have any feelings associated with driving?
Where do your alters/parts reside? In your body? Brain? Anywhere else? In the group we also talked about body memory and how that might relate.
Do or did your parts protect you? Talk about anything related to parts and protection.
Talk about how to interrupt/re-educate “trigger to response”….. how do you change your responses to triggers?
Are we healing from DID/MPD, or are we healing from abuse? Specifically, is our problem that we are multiple, or that we experienced trauma? Talk about the difference between healing from abuse or healing from DID, or if you think there *is* a difference.
