2) Meeting Guidelines
We worked on the meeting guidelines, as we would like to review and update them a little. We will just do a little bit at each meeting so that the project doesn’t take up too much time. Once the project is complete, we will post the revised guidelines. Again, we mainly want to streamline them a little more. We don’t really want to make huge changes as we think the guidelines provide safety that we need in order to succeed as a group.

2) Meeting Guidelines
We worked on the meeting guidelines, as we would like to review and update them a little. In general, we feel like there are too many guidelines, and would like to streamline things a little more. The guidelines can also feel a little overwhelming/intimidating to first time visitors – so narrowing things down a little more may help new people to feel a little more comfortable.
We identified guidelines that we for sure want to keep the same, some that we feel are unnecessary (like “no smokingâ€, when the entire building doesn’t allow smoking anyway), some that seem to be redundant because they are already stated somewhere else somehow, and some that we would like to mesh together somehow or re-state in a clearer way. No changes were made yet. Only identification of various issues. We will work on this a little bit at each meeting in the future.
3) Support Info
One member handed out information on websites geared toward DID people (these are not connected to New Landscape):
“Coping in Crazyvilleâ€

Pages by and for littles:

Social Board for NY area people with dissociative disorders (there is a link from our home page too):

2) Blog Guidelines
We talked about guidelines for the blog, and the group felt that the 3 that are posted there, are good. Most of our meeting guidelines don’t really apply to blogging, so the 3 that seemed to pertain the most, were posted. If inappropriate/spam type comments come in somehow, they can be deleted. In general, the group felt really good about the blog. Each month after the meeting, the meeting topics will be posted so that interaction can continue between meetings.
2) Meeting Guidelines
We talked about the actual meeting guidelines as well. We will be looking at these a little more as several group members felt unsure as to exactly what all the guidelines meant. We are thinking that we will work on them a little more to make them more understandable (ie, what exactly does “cross-talk” or “feedback” mean?).
3) Supporter’s Page
The group decided that a supporter’s page on our website would be good. This should be added within this month.
